Trapped

Outside it was cold and raining,
Ice forming on the roads.
She knew it wasn't smart to go anywhere,
But she felt trapped at home.
Her nerves were on end,
The city was calling to her.
Grabbing her keys,
She left the house.
Cautiously she navigated the roads at first,
Then she started getting careless.
With the way she had been feeling lately,
She didnt care what happend.
Driving too fast for the weather,
One wrong turn was all it took.
He knew something was wrong hours later when he heard knocking on the door,
She wasnt home.
All he heard was them saying "I'm sorry."
The rest was a blur,
Never again would he see her.
Outside it was cold and raining,
Ice forming fast on the roads.
She knew it wasnt smart to go anywhere,
But she felt trapped at home.
